WHAT
IS CHRISTIAN CAREER CIRCLE?
Christian
Career Circle, “CCC”, is a job-seeking, networking group that has been assisting
unemployed people in developing job search skills and in finding job leads
since 2002.
The
program is offered to any and all unemployed people, and there is no monetary
charge for our services. There are many
ways of approaching a job search, and CCC wants you to know that it is up to
you how, or if, you use the suggestions and materials provided here.
THE
MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Members
are required to attend the weekly meetings on Wednesday nights.
Members
are expected to provide job opening information and/or leads back to the group
once they get employment.
Members
should share
names of people they know who may be good network contacts and be willing to assist others by seeing that resumes get into
the proper hands.
Members
must give
freely of information and experience in any ways that would be helpful to the
group. Members
should be takers and givers, and find other ways to "pay it
forward".
MEETINGS
Christian
Career Circle meets each Wednesday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
in the East Ballroom of St. Bernard Hall just east of Sacred Heart of Mary
Church at 6739 South Boulder Road in Boulder, Colorado. The group discusses topics related to job
search strategies and periodically features presenters who can provide special
information and/or insight to a particular aspect of the job search.
THE EMPLOYMENT
GUIDE
The
Employment Guide is a collection of job search tools which we have developed.
We continually update many of the pages as changes are made, or new concepts or
job finding techniques are introduced. We have attempted to give proper credit
to people when we know the name of the author.
Should there be a discrepancy, please contact us so we can give proper
credit where it is due. Some of the
materials have come from career conferences without an author's name.
